Recently, Dunkermotoren officially inaugurated a brand-new R&D center at its premises in Taicang, Jiangsu. The R&D center in Taicang will provide technical expertise in regards to product development, localization and qualification of linear as well as rotary drives (I think ‘drives’ should be ‘motors’, the same below) for the entire AMETEK PMC division.

  The R&D center covers about 200 square meters and is equipped with dynamometers rated from 50mNM to 200NM for drive performance testing of miniature as well as large gear motors. Noise spectrum analyzer, magnet property tester, and an environmental testing room enable our highly skilled engineers to put all Dunkermotoren and PMC drives (motors) through its paces.

  Customer response times for special drive (motors) solutions as well as time-to-market for new drive products will be significantly reduced thanks to the new R&D facility.
